Ten lecturers have won prizes for this year’s contribution to quality teaching at UCU. Out of the 29 academic staff nominated, only ten were chosen for the Awards for Excellence in Teaching for 2011.

Guild elections for Feb

The presidential election, according to the EC, will be held together with the parliamentary election, as has been the case in the past.

Use your freedom wisely, Senyonyi tell new students

 The Vice Chancellor Dr. John Senyonyi, has advised new students to use their freedom well while at university.
In a message given during the induction of first- year students who joined this semester, Dr. Senyonyi said we live at a time when people are free to choose from a number of options, but that they should always be prepared to accept the consequences.
