Exam time,not judgement day,be calm

By Joseph Ochwo, :: 06-08-2010

There is something interesting about the weeks, days prior to Exam time.
Unprepared Students experience a bit of hell, while sluggish lecturers start panicking, wondering whether they can still terminate the syllabus and beat the course work and tests deadline as set by the administration.

Both characters work ahead of their brains and flesh, hazardously prompting stress and sometimes failure in their accomplishments.
The Student remembers to scratch every page of every book to pile everything into his or her tinny piece of head, loading their brains into “wonderland”.
On the other hand, the lecturer may start teaching irrelevancies and carry out misconstructions on students` course works and tests` marks.
Unlike their counterparts who are well prepared for this time, such characters are never ready and are bound to perform below their potential.
However, it is never too late for such characters to make it, as long as they compose themselves into what they think they can deliver best for an exam and work according to their reach.
Their unprepared ness should not render them into acting abnormally, like having fewer hours of sleep, having a poor diet and over working themselves.
This would only make their situation worse and even lead to more disappointment if at all their expectations had been raised and eventually jeopardized.
Exam time is not Judgement day where you either go hell or heaven, at a moment like this, you can still make!
