 The first ever Justice nightthat took place on the 16th of this month was fun-filled. All was ecstatic, right from the dancers, poets and Eddie Oketcho the MC.
There was no verdict to be delivered as the title suggested but instead it was full of drama. The fairly good turn up at the event made the Thursday night look like a weekend. The dancers were good at their act. They pulled off those break dancing techniques that conjured memories of Michael Jackson. Then came the marveling poet of the night, Zack Tiberindwa.He recited a very moving poem about media freedom. Even those who don’t appreciate poetry enjoyed Zack’s piece that night. He for example said that people always clamour for freedom of expression yet what they actually want is freedom after expression. The day’s chief guests Maurice Mugisha of Ntv did not disappoint. He attended with his wife. The only guest that was absent is the Ndorwa west MP David Bahati.
