Xtianity is UCU’s edge

On 15 September, I planned to attend the Community Hour. As I left the office for the fellowship, I was joined by a new lecturer who did not know much about the community programmes. As we walked, I told him where I was going and I was amazed by what he said.

He said, “The difference between the UCU community and some of other communities is that the UCU community is managed by software while some other communities are composed of hardware with no software”.
In other words, he compared people without guidance of the Holy Spirit to computers without software and implying that our community members are managed by the Holy Spirit! Well, we all ended up at the fellowship.
The reading of the day was from Joshua 1:6-9 and the topic was “Be strong and courageous.” During his sermon, the preacher Rev. Canon  Prof. Edison Kalengyo Muhiindo, emphasised that the secret of success for Christians is the presence of God in our lives and study of God’s word and obeying it.
Please take time to read Psalm 1:1-4, Joshua 1:8.
The University’s motto “A Centre of Excellence in the Heart of Africa” and the brand name “Complete Education for a Complete Person,” will be achieved only if we continue to seek and maintain our internal invisible strength, the presence of the Lord.
