Ahead of the FUBA league kick-off early May, the Canons will highly miss the services of point guard Ivan Enabu, who has signed a contract to play for Warriors this season. Enabu joined the canons in 2006 and together with the rest the team has achieved a lot.
In few words he is a determined and innovative player besides being outspoken and jovial. After his graduation he says life had to move on besides Warriors had a better offer for him.
However, to him playing for the Canons was a great learning experience andan honour both on and off court. “It is a privilege to join the Warriors who are experienced. Furthermore I have worked with coach Juruni Mande for a while,” he explained
The Sports Director Dale Scully said he had not fully interacted with Ivan except for the history about the transition of Canons in which Enabu played a key role to its growth. “Much success is inclined to Enabu’s commitment to the programs of the sports department we will always appreciate him and to wish him the bestin his next journey. And as basketball he will truly be missed,” he revealed.
