A God so awesome

“Until we get to know that God is glorious, our faith can only be infant at best,” the Vice Chancellor Dr. John Senyonyi said while preaching during the community hour service on 6 September.
“Most times our common understanding of God is at the level of what he can give us. It is as if our Christianity is based on provision,” Senyonyi noted.
Teaching on the semester’s theme ‘Be still and know,’  Senyonyi challenged Christians to raise their knowledge of God higher than provisions; otherwise, there is nothing unique about their faith.
He pointed out that knowing God was much deeper than mankind could ever fathom, arguing that descriptions of God by those who saw him, in the Bible, only stopped at the surroundings of God and not God himself.
“It is in what is so special and unique about him that makes us bow in worship of him,” said Senyonyi.
