Christians told to remain in fellowship with God

Christians have been encouraged to remain in fellowship with God.
Speaking during Community Hour on Tuesday 5th, Director of Quality Assurance Benon Musinguzi said the  power of Christ’s resurrection is only found through having close fellowship with God.
“This power calms the troubled mind, breaks all chains of oppression and removes all guilt,” said Musinguzi.
He was preaching under the theme: ‘Knowing Christ and the power of his resurrection.’
Musinguzi said in order for Christians to enjoy fellowship with God, they must make it a habit, to read scripture, memorise it and meditate upon it.
He said they should not just stop and that but put what they have read from the Bible into practice.
“Sometimes right after a Christian has just come out of fellowship you ask him from where the scripture was taken and he does not remember,” Musinguzi challenged.
Musinguzi maintained that fellowship is the only way a Christian can experience joy in the Lord.
“And we should also make it a habit to repent at all times to relieve ourselves of the guilt of sin as this gives us liberty in the presence of the Lord.
“We also must pray that we do not fall into temptations, said Musinguzi.”
He also encouraged Christians to remain in fellowship with one another, as they need each other’s encouragement when they fall.
In yet another community hour session last Thursday, Rev. Sunday Mejulu Anene called on Christians to come in contact with Jesus as only he makes life smooth.
“Human knowledge as tortured our relationship with God. Often we find ourselves to busy with coursework and classes,” Rev. Anene pointed out.
He reminded Christians that Jesus is not fake or a cult but the Lord of Lords.
