He reassures me

Hannah BeesigomweTo believe that God has too many problems in the world to deal with to  be concerned about our lives is not only false, but also far--fetched.
My walk with Jesus has been such that there is no limit to the extent of his love for me. He has been involved in every part of my life, from my studies to the relationships I have and even everything I possess.
Knowing and believing that he has plans and a purpose for my life has been the driving force in my life. Just the thought of this gives me a reason to smile.
However, it has not always been like this: Before I totally gave my life to God, I lived a life of uncertainty, many times unsure of what to do or which road to take.
There came a time I had managed to convince myself that my life was purposeless, that no one cared about me. And right there, in the midst of my sadness, when things could not get any worse, God just showed up in the simplest way. I remember it was in my 15th year, through a song, “He knows my name.”
It was exactly what I needed to hear. I felt him so near, his love wrapped around me. It was then that I knew he was interested in my life however worthless I thought it was. This reassurance brought new meaning to my life.
He wanted to mould every intricate detail concerning my life and walk with me through the good and bad. And since then, he has kept this promise.
