“As a student, I came to UCU with an aggressive spirit because there were people who did not have faith in me. And I made it.
“When you set a goal and you have a thousand miles to run, you will surely run for it.”
This was
part of Uganda Studies Programme coordinator, Margaret Opol’s teaching at Nkoyoyo on July 28. Opol encouraged students to do their part in studying hard and leave the rest to God.
As for female students, Opol told them to remove it from their minds that “things are tough.”
“It only means you have failed in your mind. When most ladies see subjects that involve calculations, they shy away,” Opol noted.
Opol said God created women to go through any circumstance and come out victorious.
