I have had the opportunity of examining my life with and without God by experience. And I have come to the conclusion that a life with Christ is way much easier and less complicated than a life without him.
It took me a while to believe but finally I did. I wanted to believe and follow Christ for me and not for someone else or because of something.
A personal relationship is what I sought. I wanted to know the person of Jesus, why he died for me and why I should follow him.
My conclusions was that either he was such a fool to die for me, or he loved me so much that I may never understand why he did it.
I sought for answers till I found them. It’s then that I realised that all we need to know is in the very Word of God.
So when I made the decision to follow Christ, I did it with all my heart; and since then, I have had a wonderful relationship with the Almighty.
He moulds and makes me more like him each day. I see myself getting better every day. And even though I am not perfect yet, let him do his job and I do mine – believe and obey.
I trust and believe in the person of Jesus Christ. I could write a book on what he has done for me and how he has blessed me; but that is for another time. |
