“Real Christian love is an action and not just a feeling. It is sacrificial and leads to witness.” These were the words of Chaplain, Rev. Frederick Baalwa during the Community Hour of Thursday 17.
Baalwa pointed out to the congregation that Christian love is the distinguishing mark of Christ’s followers. “You have never lived a day, a minute or a second when God has not loved you, regardless of how you feel,” said Baalwa. He however said that in spite of love, punishment is bound to happen where there is sin, because God, like a father; he corrects his children out of love. The man of God criticised leaders who fight in broad day light, and insult each other in court. “These are born-again Christians, full of the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. Can’t they settle it outside court? Can’t they love the unlovable? “And whenthis is going on, people are watching,” he said. |
