A time to sow and a time to reap

Scripture in  Ecclesiastes 3:2 teaches us that in life there is a time to plant and another to harvest what is planted. As the UCU student body approaches exam period it is to show what was planted throughout the semester.   Discussion groups have been busy of late all over the campus. The library has hardly any breathing space left. Websites with good reading material have been visited.
It is tempting to “borrow” someone else’s essay and present it as your own.  Watch out for cheating. The Standard has joined other voices in condemning that deadly habit. You want to be proud that you earned your degree. You don’t want to be brought down during election time in future because someone doubts your academic record. It is better to fail a paper and you repeat it than to be caught cheating and be expelled later.
Working hard throughout the semester, handing in all your assignments on time and doing all the necessary revision will make you reap massively in exams. In life, you reap what you have sown
