Use MIT resources well

The arrival of MIT Open Course Ware (OCW) to UCU is an achievement.
That, however, may come to say that OCW is here but how students and lecturers are utilising the resources is what will matter at the end of the day.

OCW delivers about 1800 courses to help students free of charge to answer their course-works, to broaden their understanding of certain fields and also to learn things that are not in their areas of study.
Take for instance; a student of Computer Science can now study Grammar.
The resources can be accessed on http://mit.ucu.ac.ug are not exclusive to UCU students or the community, any one in or outside UCU will need a computer with internet and the information is in their hands.
The addition of the MIT OCW to UCU’s ever growing list of online resources should evidently improve on the quality of research done by UCU students and their lecturers.
Last year the library got online links to some of the top university libraries.
The arrangement has in the past few months shown a variance in the degree of research done and also helped in the standardisation of UCU research guidelines.
Please make the most of what you have.
