A time to be tested

By Standard Admin, :: 10-01-2011

If you have ever planted some seeds in the garden, a time to harvest them comes.

If you have been working on a model like that Kenyan who was recently on the BBC to create his own made in Africa aero plane, a time will come to make it fly. The exam season here at UCU is around the corner. Students and lecturers are in the harvest mode.  Exams and tests are never easy. They bring their own level of stress but the fruit is good for those who have worked hard. It is also a time to pull up one’s socks. You can do some serious last minute preparation. Some people function best with the stress. It is however wise to plan the entire semester right from the beginning. Learning to manage time as a student is critical for the rest of life. If you do not learn that discipline now, it will be much harder in the field. The wider world out there is much more complex. The Standard wishes you well at this time. We also wish you a Blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2011.
