Each day that you live, you have less of it remaining. The year 2010 is gone forever. We are glad God has given us the opportunity to see 2011. There are big plans we have. It is God alone who will help us achieve them. Some may be on the brink of new beginning. For the new students who have joined Uganda Christian University, The Standard welcomes you to this great place that is on the cutting edge of learning in Uganda. University life is a time to engage with new ideas and begin the process of building a career. One embraces new concepts at the university. Life long friendships are built while at University.  The choices made during that time can have lasting consequences. Unlike secondary school where one is constantly monitored by school authorities, here you are deemed to be an adult. As you exercise your freedom you must remember the responsibility that comes with it.
