Susan Kanobe BCDCM

Her day started at 6am with getting her daughter Genevieve ready, dropping her off at school, and then get a taxi to UCU.
There were days  when her daughter fell ill, that she failed to make it to school but she always made use of the little time she had at school to read as much as she could.

Her hard work paid off when she scored a GPA 4.56 at the end of her three years of Child Development course.
Susan Kanobe juggled education with marriage.
A mother of one, with the second one on the way was aware that it was only God’s grace and focus that she would make it through.
“I knew that my reason for being at university was to acquire an education and I focused on that,” she affirms.
Child Development was not anywhere near what she thought she would study at university.
“I wanted to study Law but my grades were not good enough to pursue my dream course,” she said.
She however enrolled for a Diploma in Law at the law development center and later, with advice from a friend, enrolled for the BCDCM at UCU.

Kanobe hopes to use the knowledge he has acquired to start a children’s organization and also pursue her dream course, Law, to help her in her area of specialization, children.
She attributes her good performance to God and the BCDCM head of department, who was also her supervisor.
“Everybody deserves the best. In addition to prayer, if you give your heart to your cause, you will succeed,’ she says.
