The athletics team, Uganda Christian University is warming up for the national cross country championships in Jinja on February 11. Coach Timothy Kabuye knows that these races are good in building up the athletes and testing their endurance strength.

Shepherds in early bird training

The UCU Shepherds are the first team to start serious training at an early stage.
The defending champions are anticipating friendly games in February before the University league games kick off.
Shepherds are still highly confident about retaining the title, which was gained from last years’ incredible performance.

Ssali second in Kampala in Kampala cross-country

UCU athletics captain Michael Ssali finished second, followed by Edward Mukasa, in the Kampala cross-country at Kakungulu Memorial playground on Saturday 14 January. Ssali clinched 28:56.12 while Mukasa made 29:20.40.

Three students to train with UCU football team
