Pool table services have been brought closer after the UCU guild secured the facility worth 1.5 million. The pool table is accessible from Nsibambi Hall common room to both male and female students at a fee of sh200 per game.
The facility is managed by the sports minister who ensures it is kept in good shape besides the accountability of the finances.
“We wanted to curb illicit drinking. Furthermore, we made it affordable by charging only Sh200 instead of the Sh500 in other places,” said the guild president Chrisostom Akwech.
