Ssali second in Kampala in Kampala cross-country

UCU athletics captain Michael Ssali finished second, followed by Edward Mukasa, in the Kampala cross-country at Kakungulu Memorial playground on Saturday 14 January. Ssali clinched 28:56.12 while Mukasa made 29:20.40.
“It was quite competitive and helped us in preparing for the national cross-country,”
Mukasa did not find any trouble with running on a flat surface because of the training the team has engaged in. The team has always run around Mukono, up and down Besania Hill.
Ssali and Mukasa are the only ones that represented the university.
