Planning Department

Planning caters for the broad “strategic plan” of the University including establishing and monitoring the priorities for teaching, research, and service in the University. 

Planning should prepare detailed 6 and 3 year plans for the physical, financial, human resource, and other requirements needed.

Planning also develops and monitors annual business plans including collecting and reviewing division and departmental goals and budgets.  The following offices are needed:

  • Financial planning.  This unit analyzes financial trends affecting the University.  
  • Physical planning. This unit oversees design of physical resources.   
  • Monitoring and Evaluation.  This unit shall maintains “performance” information about UCU related to its strategic and annual business plans, and produces annual reports.
