Academics at Uganda Christian University

Uganda Christian University offers a number of degree and diploma programmes which are designed to develop a cadre of professionals with integrity, power of critical inquiry, logical thought and independent judgment with a christian perspective. The programmes are offered in three intakes: September, January and May.

Master of Divinity (M.Div)

Location: Mukono campus

Duration: 3years full time

Prospective Student
This program targets people with other professional qualifications who wish to be prepared for ordained ministry or lay Christian ministries/evangelism.

Vision
Faithful and capable leaders who are called to serve God in both Church ministry and public life.

Mission
Train Men and Women for pastoral and Academic ministry; to train them in Godly living, to equip them to preach, evangelize, teach, care for, and pastor God’s people in knowledge and love of God throughout the world.

Entry requirements
Regular Uganda Christian University entry requirements, a first degree in any profession and a faculty interview

In 1913, a theological college was established in Mukono. Today, Uganda Christian University serves over 11,000 students offering a wide range of programmes at its five campuses nationwide. In 2013, Uganda Christian University celebrated 100 years of service and looks forward to building a great future.
