Welcome to Uganda Christian University, the fastest growing University with a great reputation! The basis for its reputation is its Christian identity and the emphasis on Christian values. That makes our department an important part in the activities of Uganda Christian University.

Aware of the various categories of people who join the community we aim at ministering to all of them at their levels. For the unbelievers we seek to draw them to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. To the believers we aim at discipling them for spiritual growth. And to the “Mature believers” we equip them for ministry. In all this we purpose to maintain spiritual vitality and the Christian identify of Uganda Christian University.

There is only one Chaplaincy on campus but although we are Anglicans our ministry is set up in away that cuts across denominational boundaries. The staff and students have the freedom to worship and participate in activities of any other Christian church.

If you are looking for a university that caters for your spirituality in Uganda, then look no further because this is the place to be. We have every empowered and experienced staff backed up by Bishop Tucker School of Divinity and Theology lecturers and students, and many other ministers and mature Christians who are willing to walk the journey of faith with you. But also the environment promotes Christian values.
