Over 4400 register for January semester

Amidst all the fanfare welcoming the New Year, Uganda Christian University is ushering in a new semester. Registration officially started on Wednesday, January 4th with students reporting at the sports grounds below Sabiti Hall.

According to admissions and numbers from previous semesters, 4,498 students are expected to register, including new, continuing, modular, Uganda Studies Program (USP) and Kampala Campus students. Students of theology and divinity, law, community health and development studies (evening) who were not on campus in the September semester can look forward to enjoying all the new developments at UCU.

The deadline for prompt payment is set for Friday, January 6th although registration will continue until Friday, January 20th, two weeks from now.  At this time students may be issued either with green cards if they clear all their fees or with yellow cards if they clear 50% of their fees, but it is expected that by March 2nd, all students will have paid their fees and be fully registered with green cards.

To all new students, welcome to UCU and to the continuing students, welcome back for another semester. May the New Year represent not only a fresh start in life but a renewed commitment to academic and personal advancement.

Campus Life The countdown is on! Uganda Christian University is in 2013 celebrating 100 years of providing higher education for development since Bishop Tucker School began training leaders and pastors in the East Africa region.
