The Uganda Christian University (UCU) has received a 39-book consignment donated by the International Network for Christian Higher Education (INCHE)

While receiving the books, UCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi said this will be an additional support for training staff members in integrating faith and learning.

He added that the books will also help Institute of Faith Learning and Service (IFLS) as they organize seminars for training staff on how to communicate matters of faith in UCU’s operations.

The books are diverse in content; encompassing fields like Christian Journalism, Social Sciences and Theology among others.

The Manager IFLS, Olga Nakato, said UCU has partnered with INCHE in three other engagements such as; equipping the Faculty of Journalism, Media and Communication with digital teaching skills and psychology trainings for Counseling Department.

She added that this is the second time INCHE is donating books to UCU. They first offered the University 87 books in September last year and now they have added more to make a total of 116 books.

INCHE is a global organization of individuals and institutions, connected with the shared goal of serving Jesus as Lord by fostering the development of Christian higher education worldwide.
